There are sugars from natural sources like maple syrup, honey, and fruits, etc. which are far better than those intakes from HFCS and processed sugars. You should not cut fruits from a diet to remove corresponding sugars. This will lead to a removal of antioxidants from your diet along with the removal of vitamins, minerals, fibers and phytochemicals which are all needed for good diet compilation.

WAYS FOR REDUCING SUGAR CONTENTS FROM DIET

Then how to get a menu which includes healthy sugars in required amounts? Following are the ways for cutting down on sugars;

  • Not to buy processed foods

Not buying this kind of foods will be one of the massive changes made to your diet to reduce sugar content. These are the things which come in boxed form and also contain added sugars. There are processed foods which contain various sugar types in a single packing.

  • Making Own Tomato/Spaghetti Sauce

You may be a lover of processed foods and thus will not agree to cut down ready-made and processed foods from your diet routine. The simplest thing you can do is to avoid buying tomato sauce from the store. This is so because such sauces contain higher contents of sugars which are more than body needs. If you love to eat tomato sauce, you can make one by using fresh tomatoes with fresh herbs. Sugar can be added but just for the sake of taste, and it will be far less than the market products with sugar.

  • Choosing Whole and Fresh Fruit

Juices, fruits & dehydrated fruits are all lovely in taste, and these are all pure forms of sugar. In these, fiber is already gone due to processing. This means you need to get fresh fruit for getting natural, healthy benefits. Best options are lemon, grapefruits, cherries and berries over bananas and apples and other similar fruits. Former fruits come with higher glucose content and lower fructose content and thus have an overall lower content.
