"We are forever grateful for the care we received at Five Points. They were a fundamental part of my fertility journey and the birth of our healthy twins. We highly recommend you to give them a try."
About Dr Erin's journey to specializing in Fertility:
"Around 2009 I started thinking about specializing in fertility and Women’s Health. That same year I got pregnant with twin boys. Although it presented a few challenges, after their birth I was more resolute than ever about the importance of helping couples conceive and carry healthy babies, and empowering them to trust their abilities to do so.
Since becoming a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine in 2011, I’ve devoted my studies to the details of fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. Staying on the forefront of Women’s health issues, I am constantly integrating Eastern and Western approaches for the best clinical outcomes I can hope to achieve."

Acupuncture has been proven beneficial in five major areas of fertility:
Chinese medicine says that fertility and reproductive health are the results of overflowing health and abundant life force. In today’s world, maintaining “overflowing health and abundance” can be a hard task. Using the classical elements of Chinese Medicine, coupled with insights of herbal medicine and nutrition, we can create new pathways to good health, and generate the abundance you need to conceive and carry a healthy child.
If you are going through Assisted Reproduction Therapy, such as IUI or IVF, then acupuncture has the additional benefits of decreasing the stress from those treatments, improving pharmaceutical outcomes, decreasing pharmaceutical side effects, and is generally shown to improve overall outcomes.
Dr Erin has helped people with all of these conditions conceive, carry, and deliver healthy babies.
Statistics show that 30-40% of couples are experiencing Male Factor Infertility, however, the men are rarely ever the patient. Unfortunately, as the gestational carrier, even in Male factor situations it falls to the female to go through the necessary treatments to solve the problems and conceive.
Unfortunately, we are missing an opportunity here to evaluate men’s health appropriately, and to help these fellas correct their health imbalances early on. Proper diagnosis and treatment can restore hormone functioning to improve sperm parameters. Instead of dismissing sperm anomalies and rushing out to IUI or IVF, we should also be curious as to what’s driving sperm production errors.
If you want dad to live a long and healthy life, then help him take the necessary steps to improve his health and sperm along the way.
Even if I can’t get them in for routine acupuncture treatments, any treatments are better than none. A thorough Chinese medicine diagnosis and good nutritional evaluation can produce
Powerful changes in men’s health and fertility. - Dr Erin
